Mosaic Foster Care offers mainly long-term fostering, as well as supportive foster care (respite care as part of our foster parents’ holiday) for children over 4 (no sibling groups, babies, or toddlers). If you want to become a foster parent in Suffolk, contact our foster agency or the local council to express your interest. We will conduct a home visit and a thorough series of assessments to determine your suitability. You must participate in extensive foster care training and preparation courses. A fostering panel will review our assessment reports and give their approval. Once you are approved, fostering agencies match potential foster parents with available children. If you are an already approved and experienced foster parent, you may also transfer to Mosaic with a smooth process.
