Mosaic Foster Care shortlisted for Management Team Of The Year at the 2025 Growing Business Awards 

We’re delighted to share that Mosaic Foster Care has been shortlisted for the Management Team of the Year award at the prestigious 2025 Growing Business Awards. 

Now in their 27th year, the Growing Business Awards celebrate the UK’s most successful and dynamic organisations. This year’s finalists include some of the country’s most forward-thinking companies and we’re proud to stand among them. 

Why strong leadership matters in foster care 

Being shortlisted in the Management Team category is a great piece of recognition and also a powerful reflection of what makes Mosaic different. 

In fostering, we believe strong leadership isn’t something that’s nice to have. It’s absolutely essential. Every decision we make as a team shapes the experience of our foster parents and, in turn, the outcomes for the children in their care.  

Government research shows good leadership – through effective supervision – is essential for supporting carers, improving foster carer retention and achieving placement stability.  

Good supervision and support is also key to retaining foster carers, while dissatisfaction with the attitude and support offered has been linked to foster parents prematurely departing from fostering altogether. 

That’s why we invest so heavily in creating a culture where our team is well supported, valued and encouraged to grow.

The next stage involves interviews for Mosaic’s leadership team with the judging panel in September, with final winners announced at the ceremony in London this November.
